Namibia super model Behati Prinsloo is face of Lancaster house

Early last month, French accessories brand Lancaster house announced Behati Prinsloo as the face of its new campaign. The Namibian supermodel took over from fellow model Karlie Kloss as the star of the new Lancaster Spring-Summer 2015 campaign. (continues below... )

In the first image revealed - shot by photographer Guy Aroch - the supermodel wears a casual yet chic outfit and carries one of the label's latest leather handbags.

Behati Prinsloo who is of Namibian decent, has been a Victoria's Secret Angel since 2009. She has appeared in campaigns and on catwalks for some of the biggest names in fashion, including Chanel, Prada, Marc Jacobs and Versace.
The 25 year old supermodel was born in Grootfontein, Namibia (then South West Africa), where her father, Boet, is a church minister, and her mother, Magda, runs a bed and breakfast. She grew up speaking Afrikaans, though was educated in English.

While on holiday in Cape Town, South Africa, at the age of 16, Behati Prinsloo was discovered by Storm Model Management founder Sarah Doukas.
In 2008, she became the face of the Victoria's Secret sub-brand Pink and moved on to become a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2009. She is one of the most famous models in the world and married to rocksater Adam Levine.
