Tony Elumelu's Heirs Backs Silicon Valley's Wonderloop

Heirs Holdings, an invested company owned by Nigerian businessman and Philanthropist, Tony Elumelu, has disclosed that it recently invested of a new Silicon Valley start-up Wonderloop Incorporated. (continues below... )

The funding according to Tony Elumelu, is to support the development and expansion of the company's custom video-profile application "Wonderloop" which enables its users create a 10-to-15 second video profile, as a replacement to bios and images, thus allowing a viewer to see the real you.

The application - a first of its kind - is Founded by Norwegian entrepreneur Hanna Aase, and will be fully launched in 2015, after which all users will only be granted entrance to the platform via invites.

Tony Elumelu is one of Africa's biggest enterpreneurs, with stakes key sectors across Africa and beyond.

Only recently, his Tony Elumelu Foundation committed an unprecedented $100 million to support 10,000 entrepreneurs across 54 countries in Africa, over the next 10 years, starting from January 1, 2015 (tomorrow).
