Popular Ghanaian-British radio presenter Reggie Yates and Big brother presenter Emma Willis have been announced as the hosts of a new BBC 1 game show due to air in spring. Although the name of the game show was not immediately revealed, it's been described as one of the most entertaining, adventurous show of recent times. (continues below... )
The new game show will see the two presenters embark on adventurous challenges with 10 contestants from the United Kingdom. It will include challenges that will test their courage, mental strength and levels of endurance. In an exiting twist, the show will also feature chosen family and friends of the contestants as play-at-home contestants.
The show will be filmed abroad at different locations and contestants who perform poorest will be sent back to the UK to meet friends and families at the Farnborough's FIVE centre. There, their families will have a chance to save them by answering questions against another contestant’s family.
The family that wins gets to send back their contestant to the plane and back in the game.
This is a six-part series produced by Electric Ray is a joint venture between Sony Pictures Television and BBC entertainment .
Reggie Yates made his first television appearance in the TV show Desmond's at the age of 8, and in Disney Club, as Robbie. He has gone on to become a versatile actor, television presenter and radio DJ, best known for his several roles for the BBC in radio and television.
