It's been quite... interesting, and quite a social media firestorm, to see the No. 1 Citizen of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan in Beats by Dre. Who made this happen? D'banj was nominated in October 2014 as the first African ambassador for Apple's Beats by Dre, with his own customized series of the brand. One of these he presented President Goodluck Jonathan at the launch of the Youth Employment in Agriculture Programme (YEAP) recently in Abuja, Nigeria, where he was invited as a guest.
D'banj is one of Africa's most celebrated artistes. From winning multiple national, continental and international awards, to collaborating with the likes of Akon, Snoop Dogg and Kanye West, D'banj equally stands as Nigeria's first United Nations Youth Ambassador for Peace.
